Michael Moehringer, General Manager
Mike brings many years of experience as an industry professional to the position of General Manager, with the majority of those spent in senior leadership / management positions. His varied operations background includes; cold fill beverage operations, PET processing in injection & blow molding, and aluminum can manufacture. Throughout those years Mike gained broad exposure to the beverage, beer and dairy industry. His work experiences included responsibility for production, quality, customer service, financial, human resources, warehouse, and distribution operations.
Mike is a native of Central New York and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Utica College. He joined Clinton’s Ditch in January of 2012 and reports to the Clinton’s Ditch Cooperative Board of Directors.
Thomas Millert, Plant Manager
Tom joined Clinton’s Ditch in the summer of 1974 and has been with us over 33 years. Tom worked as an hourly employee throughout his college years in various positions within all of our departments. Upon graduation from college, Tom was hired full-time and promoted to various positions within our company, including data entry, warehouse and production supervisor, and assistant plant manager. Tom was promoted to Plant Manager in 1997, a position he still holds today.
Tom is currently responsible for all aspects of our manufacturing process including: plant operations, production and materials planning, employee health and safety, and capital projects.
Tom’s many years of experience here at Clinton’s Ditch allows us to remain an effective and efficient operation.
Steve Erwin, Transportation Manager
Steve joined Clinton’s Ditch in 1998 as our Transportation Manager. As Transportation Manager, he oversees our daily transportation department in all aspects from logistics coordination to route scheduling to fleet maintenance. He is responsible for a fleet of over 200 pieces of equipment including trucks, trailers, dollies and support vehicles. Steve also coordinates outside backhauls for various customers of Clinton’s Ditch. The Ditch fleet delivers beverages and other products in NY, MA, CT, VT, NH, NJ, PA, MD, DE, VA and WVA. The fleet has finished in 1st place in the TANY Fleet Safety Awards in 2008, 2015 and 2017. They also place 1st in the PA Fleet Safety Awards for 2017.
Steve has been involved in the transportation industry since 1977. As Regional Vice-Chairman of the Trucking Association of New York (TANY), a member of the Onondaga County Traffic Safety Advisory Board (OCTSAB), a member of the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) and a member of the American Trucking association (ATA), Mr. Erwin stays up-to-date and relevant with the latest news, information, and technology in the transportation industry with a heavy emphasis on truck safety.
He is a certified LCV Tandem Driver Trainer, a certified NYS Motor Vehicle Inspector. Steve is also an Accident Investigator for the National Committee of Motor Fleet Supervisors and a certified Hazardous Materials Technician. He received his Certificate of Competency from the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. Mr. Erwin is currently a Commissioner and Past Chief of the Lakeside Fire District and has been a member since 1983.
